Tony started shaping in 1968 and has shaped 5000+ surfboards and counting since then. His passion for shaping stems from his love of the ocean and surfing and his natural abilities as an artist. Tony's unrelenting desire for creating the most beautiful and highest quality surfboard is unmatched. His attention to detail gives every surfboard he shapes the smoothest lines, curves, and transitions throughout the whole board. Whether designing a stock board or creating a custom order, Tony aims for perfection. Any shape - traditional or imagined - comes to life in Tony's shop. Tony's customer service is reliable, consistent, and he is always ready to answer any questions you might have. This is a customer service driven shop and all surfboards are shaped to your exact specifications. BOARD CONSTRUCTION
POLYURETHANE/POLYESTER (PU/PE) is traditional surfboard construction using polyurethane foam and polyester resin with fiberglass. EPS/EPOXY uses EPS blanks with epoxy resin, this construction is lighter, stronger, and feels livelier than PU/PE. |
CUSTOM CONTSRUCTION
TC TECHNOLOGY uses stringerless EPS blanks, epoxy resin, fiberglass and strategically placed carbon strips. TCT construction is designed for controlled flex based on the dimensions of the board as well as the rider's weight and needs. We vary the width and placement of the carbon strips and use special layering of S-cloth on the rails and in patches on the board. This optimizes the sweet spot and flex to create a very light, strong, reactive surfboard. TC CARBON uses stringerless EPS blanks, epoxy resin, and carbon. The whole board is glassed with carbon fiber making it extremely light and durable, and creating a unique surfing experience. |
